SUMMARY:John H. Zimmerman Memorial Bocce Tournament
DESCRIPTION:The first John H. Zimmerman Memorial Bocce Tournament will be held on Armed Forces Day\, Saturday\, 17 May 2025\, from 0900-1300 in the Pool Greenspace.  All are invited.  If you want to get a team together\, you should have 4 people per team with a team name.  Medals for 1st \, 2nd\, and 3rd place will be award to the top 3 teams and the top team will have their team name on a plate placed on a plaque commemorating their victory. \n\n\n\nJohn Zimmerman is a deceased Air Force Vietnam Combat Veteran who was an active member of the Veterans Group here on Winston Ridge.  If you would like to make a donation to the Parkinson’s Foundation in his name\, that is certainly welcome.  Please do this separately from the Bocce Tournament.  There will be a Master of Ceremonies narrating the action as well as a quasi-professional Bocce Referee who will be refereeing the matches (he has done this twice before which makes him at least partially professional – right?).    The tournament will be held with the assistance of the veterans here on Winston Ridge.  Come out and support your team\, or try your hand at throwing in competition. \n\n\n\nFor more information pleas contact Chris Greco @ (443) 690-5037
