Carroll Joyner Park in Wake Forest (701 Harris Rd.) for a 1 mile interactive hike to have some fun out in the autumn air. The path we will follow is easy\, flat\, paved\, and is suitable for strollers and wagons. This hike is especially geared toward families with smaller children\, but all family members are welcome\, including furry ones (it is park policy that all dogs must be on a leash). Please bring a drink and a snack since these are not available at the park. We will start our adventure at the information kiosk located by the main parking lot. We welcome all Veterans to lead the parade\, followed by cars\, motorcycles\, golf carts\, bikes and ending with walkers in order to keep everyone safe! \nGeorge Roraback has planned a few surprises while you are waiting for the parade to start at 10:00 am!!  Thanks George!! \nA snapshot of the parade route is posted below (and attached).  From the old pool we’ll head down Meadowrue \n\nturn left on Sweet Birch\nturn right on Scarlet Bell\nturn left on Moonflower\nturn right on Sweet Bay\nturn left on Sugar Maple\nturn left on Pickerel Crest\nending at the new pool on Plantation\n\nAfter the parade\, we’ll have breakfast goodies so plan to hang out and socialize with your neighbors at our beautiful new pool! We can’t wait to see you all along the parade route cheering us on!
