Spring is in the air, and it’s a great time to refresh and maintain your home and yard! As we welcome warmer weather, here are a few seasonal reminders to help keep our community looking its best, as well as some exciting community updates.
Pool Season
The pool opens this Saturday, 5/10/25! Swimming season is right around the corner! If you did not get a pool fob last year, please complete the attached Fob Request Form and email it to winstonridge@elite-mgmt.com at your earliest convenience. You will not be able to access the pool without a fob, so the faster you submit your form, the better.
Lawn Care & Landscaping – Spring is the perfect time to fertilize, aerate, and seed your lawn for a lush summer look. If you need guidance on best practices for lawn care in North Carolina, the NC Cooperative Extension is a fantastic resource. You can find helpful tips and research-based advice at https://www.ces.ncsu.edu/.
Exterior Home Maintenance – A little spring upkeep goes a long way! Now is a great time to:
? Power wash your home, driveway, and sidewalks
? Inspect fences, decks, and patios for needed repairs
? Clean out gutters and check for proper drainage
? Refresh mulch and trim overgrown landscaping
Planning Exterior Improvements? Submit Your ARC Request!
If you’re considering exterior updates, such as painting, fencing, new landscaping, or additions, don’t forget to submit your Architectural Review Committee (ARC) request well in advance! We have attached the Architectural Request documents here, and you can also find them 24/7 on the community’s website. Getting approval now will help you stay on track for a smooth and timely project this spring and summer. If you have questions about the process, we’re happy to help!
Note: The volume of ARC Applications is incredibly high this time of year, and processing times will be slower than normal. For fastest processing and to minimize delays, please include ALL required components and email them as a single PDF to winstonridge@elite-mgmt.com
Billing and Contact Information
Last, but not least, now is also a great time to double-check your online homeowner account to ensure that we have your most up-to-date contact info, that you don’t have any outstanding late fees or violations. Your HOA assessment amount is $150.00 due quarterly. You will receive a late fee in the amount of $20.00 if the full amount is not paid by the 30th of the month, in which it is due, and for every month thereafter until a payment is posted to your account. So, make sure you pay by January 30th, April 30th, July 30th, and October 30th to avoid those pesky late fees. We rely heavily on email communications, so please double-check all email addresses on your account for accuracy.
