Pool Committee

Mission: The purpose of the Pool Committee is to maintain a fun and safe pool environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Solicit bids from pool maintenance service providers for both pools every three years. Present all bids to the board and make a recommendation to the Board based on the highest quality service provider available at a reasonable cost to the HOA.
  • Solicit bids from cleaning service providers for bathrooms and pool house rooms every three years. Present all bids to the board and make a recommendation to the Board based on the highest quality services provider available at a reasonable cost to the HOA.
  • Oversee general maintenance needs of both pools, pool house rooms, and bathrooms. Contact property management company for needed repairs OR in urgent situations, the board liaison for the pool committee will contact the pool maintenance provider, handyman, or other vendor directly.
  • Maintain supply of toilet paper, paper towels, trash can liners, and liquid soap for bathrooms.
  • Oversee off season storage of deck furniture and distribute furniture on decks with pool openings.
  • Communicate with pool visitors to confirm any concerns or areas for improvement and provide recommendations to the Board.
  • Review and approve all clubhouse use/rental requests, coordinate opening of the clubhouse area before event and inspect clubhouse area for damages after event.
  • Draft proposed clubhouse use rules and procedure for presentation to Board.Solicit bids from vendors and make recommendations to the Board.
