Wake Forrest Concerts in the Park

Weather permitting, The Breakfast Club will headline a free concert at E. Carroll Joyner Park, 701 Harris Road, this Sunday, Sept. 8, from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
The longest running, most recognized ’80’s tribute band in the United States, The Breakfast Club embodies the enigmatic, creative, and buoyant spirit of music and live performances of the original MTV generation.
As part of Sunday’s event, the following food and dessert trucks will be onsite: Goodness GraceUS, Empanada RD, Southern Fried Lumpia, Frostbites, and Lumpy’s Ice Cream.
Attendees are invited to bring a picnic, leashed pets, a blanket, or lawn chair and enjoy the music. However, alcoholic beverages, smoking, and unleashed pets are prohibited at Joyner Park.

Smart phone users who have downloaded the Town of Wake Forest app will receive a push notification message informing them of any schedule changes.
In the event of inclement weather, the concerts may be canceled or moved inside the Joyner Park Community Center.
