Dear Winston Ridge Neighbors,
Would you like an opportunity to come together as a Community to support community? If so, the
Service Sub-Committee (part of the Social Committee) has an opportunity for you!
The Tri-Area Ministry Food Pantry schedules GROUPS of volunteers for their Saturday distribution days (2nd and 3rd Saturday of each month).
The group is limited to eight volunteers, all of whom must be SIXTEEN years of age or older. If we have more than eight volunteers, we can either split the shift, or perhaps volunteer for another Saturday.
Please note that ALL work is done outdoors, rain or shine, hot or cold, so folks need to dress for the
weather. All volunteers must wear closed toe shoes for safety reasons.
So who’s ready to VOLUNTEER? The next available date for a Group to volunteer is Nov 18th, and the
Pantry is tentatively holding this date for Winston Ridge. If you are interested and available on Nov 18th
from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and would like to volunteer, please contact Donna McCallum on FB
Messenger or via email at donna.WR.servicecomm@gmail.com to sign-up. We need to secure the
date with the Pantry as soon as possible, so please don’t delay.
Of course, if you would like to volunteer, but this date doesn’t work for you, the Pantry always
welcomes individual volunteers to walk-in and serve on their own schedule on Monday and Wednesday
of every week, or the 2nd and 3rd Saturday of each month, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
