Dear Winston Ridge HOA Residents,
After much anticipation and hard work, we are delighted to inform you that the Plantation pool meeting room is now ready for reservation. Please keep reading for more details.
Since the pool’s completion last July, the pool committee, in collaboration with the Board of Directors, has been diligently working to transform the vacant space into a welcoming and functional area for our community to enjoy. With your patience and support, we have achieved remarkable progress:
- Furnishing the room with curtains, new tables and chairs, and a small kitchenette, generously donated by one of our residents.
- Enhancing our insurance coverage to better protect our community and its assets.
- Installing a safety fence, as mandated by Franklin County, to separate the pool area from the room while still providing access to the bathrooms located outside.
- Thoughtfully crafting rules and regulations to ensure fair and equitable use of the pool room by all residents.
This meticulous process, while time-consuming, has been essential in creating a safe, functional, and enjoyable space for our community. We are immensely grateful for your patience and understanding throughout this journey.
USAGE RULES:
The meeting room will be open for community group usage up to 90 days in advance. We believe that by prioritizing community groups initially, we can maximize the usage of this space for the benefit of all residents. The Board of Directors will closely monitor the activity and consider opening the calendar for other types of usage in the future.
To request the meeting room, one person in the group must log into their account via https://winstonridge.org/ and submit the completed event/reservation request form. This designated person will also assume responsibility for any charges that may apply in the event of damage, failure to clean up after the event, or violation of any meeting room usage rules.
