Winston Ridge 9/11 Commemoration Event

The Veteran’s Group of Winston Ridge invites veterans and their families, first responders and their families, as well as anyone interested in attending the first 9/11 Commemoration Event.  The event will begin at 0900 (9:00 AM) on Monday, September 11, at the swimming pool flag pole for a brief introduction, flag-lowering to half-mast, as well as remarks from veterans.  After the flag lowering ceremony, everyone is invited to partake of light refreshments (donuts, bagels, fruit and vegetable trays) in the pool house.  The event will end at 1000 (10:00 AM).  The event is designed as both a commemoration of 9/11 along with a thank-you to the first responders and veterans for their continued service.
