Greetings Fellow Gardeners,
Hope you are enjoying this beautiful spring we’re having, even if it’s a little on the hot and dry side.
WR Garden Club’s monthly meeting will be Tuesday, May 13 at 7p.m. The location has changed. We will meet at Paul Hawkins’ backyard at 45 Meadowrue Lane. Paul will show us his vegetable gardens and how it was all set up. His goal is to create a backyard grocery store! There will also be time for questions. Bring a chair and come join us.
As of now I have 7 gardens for the Parade of Gardens on June 7th. Please think about signing up or encourage neighbors and friends to add their gardens to the list. It will only be successful if we have enough gardens to view. Some people have been reluctant to sign up because they want to see the other gardens. So, on June 6th, there will be a guided preview tour ONLY for the people whose gardens are on the Parade of Gardens. This gives them the opportunity to view the other gardens.
