So this is what the pool committee was trying to avoid. See, the umbrellas that are closed can survive thunderstorms. Umbrellas that are left open cannot. When I checked on the push bar yesterday evening, there were people still at the pool and umbrellas still up so, that was fine but now this morning, this. Please comment below with your ideas to get this to be the last time we have to deal with this situation. I’m at my wits end.
To confirm it was, indeed, left open, the process to open it requires a key is slid into through the pole, once pulled open or it will default to fall shut. It was left open. I know, so disappointing.
