We are fortunate to have Mary Wright Christiana there at 1:00 to teach Mahjong for beginners. If you don't want to play Mahjong you are more than welcome just to hang out and meet new neighbors. This will also be a good time to gather and discuss what else we would like to do on Senior Thursdays, all ideas are are welcome.
WR Daytime Bunco Group

Holiday Celebration
We welcome all our wonderful Winston Ridge Neighbors to come join in the 2024 celebration fun on Sunday December 8th from 2pm till 5pm at the Plantation pool clubhouse to enjoy some cookies, hot chocolate, coffee and cheer!! You are all invited to bring your favorite cookies to share…. but don’t stress if you have lots on your plate this time of year and can’t find the time to bake we will have cookies already there, so just come and enjoy cookies provided along with the ones your neighbors brought to share. We will also be collecting unwrapped toy donations for "Toy's for Tot's" and you will be entered in a drawing for a $20 scratch off if you bring a toy. Santa and Mrs. Claus will arrive at 2pm to…
Oktoberfest
Join us on Saturday, October 5th from 1pm to 6pm for the Winston Ridge Oktoberfest! There will be activities for all ages: Music, Food, Crafts, Story time/Puppet Show, Costume Contest, Photo Booth, Hammerschlagen, Cornhole Tournament, 50/50 Raffle (please bring cash!) And it wouldn't be an Oktoberfest without some great outfits, so come dressed in your Oktoberfest Best and be entered to win some fun prizes! Keep tuned for more details to come, along with a signup for some great German Dishes to pass. Bratwursts, condiments and snacks will be provided. 2024 Social Event Planning for Kids Events
Good Morning WR! We are preparing some Social Committee events for 2024. In acknowledging we have a lot of young families in the community we would like to offer kids events at the clubhouse starting Feb. These events would consist of story telling, movie night and ice cream sundaes to start. We are looking for 2-3 young Moms, grandmas, aunts who would like to work with us. We will be meeting once per month for 2 hrs. and looking to create a second layer of participation to help support children activities. If this is you please contact me. I have family coming in today and will respond as soon as I can. These events are tentatively scheduled for once a month unless we don’t get the response we are hoping…
