Good Afternoon Winston Ridge Homeowner, We hope this email finds you well. We want to let you know that we have had the Plantation pool hours violated, with costs incurred to maintain the pool after the incident. It was discovered by our CPI cameras what appears to be 3-4 teenage individuals entering and swimming in the pool after hours on Sunday, May 25, 2025 at approximately 11:30pm. We do have pictures provided by CPI and before providing them to the Sheriff's office, we would love any information the community may have. John H. Zimmerman Memorial Bocce Tournament

The first John H. Zimmerman Memorial Bocce Tournament will be held on Armed Forces Day, Saturday, 17 May 2025, from 0900-1300 in the Pool Greenspace.  All are invited.  If you want to get a team together, you should have 4 people per team with a team name.  Medals for 1st , 2nd, and 3rd place will be award to the top 3 teams and the top team will have their team name on a plate placed on a plaque commemorating their victory. John Zimmerman is a deceased Air Force Vietnam Combat Veteran who was an active member of the Veterans Group here on Winston Ridge.  If you would like to make a donation to the Parkinson's Foundation in his name, that is certainly welcome.  Please do this separately from the Bocce Tournament. …

Spring is almost here and it’s Easter time in the Ridge so get ready for our annual Easter Egg Hunt!

When: April 5th (rain date April 6th) Where: Plantation pool greenspace Start Time: 11:00 sharp….so arrive earlier Please help us make this a wonderful event again by stopping by 92 Sugarmaple and picking up some empty eggs to fill them with goodies (no chocolate please it melts when it’s hot). You can pick them up anytime now until March 31st, you can also bring your own eggs already filled. Decision on Gambling/Playing Games of Chance

Dear HOA Members, In August, during an open forum at the HOA Board meeting a number of residents brought to the Board's attention that their interest in playing games of chance for small sums in the Plantation Activity Center were being denied.  The reason for the denial being that it was against North Carolina law.  The Board determined that it would seek the opinion of its lawyer on this issue. In a timely manner Elite referred the inquiry to Jordon Price Law Firm and the Board received a two-page in-depth response which it considered at its October 15th Board meeting.  Therefore, based on case law, NC statues, and potential cancellation of liability insurance, the Board has resolved the following:  No gambling as is traditionally understood to contain three elements -…
