Important Notice: Blasting Activity in Winston Ridge Community

Dear Winston Ridge Homeowners, I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to inform you of upcoming drilling and blasting activities planned by Mungo Homes as part of the construction for the next phase of our community. While we anticipate these activities to commence within the next week or two, we currently do not have an exact date for the start of blasting. Rest assured, we are diligently working to obtain this information and will communicate it to you promptly to ensure everyone is adequately prepared. Mungo Homes has contracted East Coast Drilling to carry out the blasting operations. According to their assessment, each blast will last for three seconds or less, and it is anticipated that the sound will be audible from every home within the community.…

Holiday Celebration

We welcome all our wonderful Winston Ridge Neighbors to come join in the 2024 celebration fun on Sunday December 8th from 2pm till 5pm at the Plantation pool clubhouse to enjoy some cookies, hot chocolate, coffee and cheer!! You are all invited to bring your favorite cookies to share…. but don’t stress if you have lots on your plate this time of year and can’t find the time to bake we will have cookies already there, so just come and enjoy cookies provided along with the ones your neighbors brought to share. We will also be collecting unwrapped toy donations for "Toy's for Tot's" and you will be entered in a drawing for a $20 scratch off if you bring a toy. Santa and Mrs. Claus will arrive at 2pm to…

Oktoberfest

Join us on Saturday, October 5th from 1pm to 6pm for the Winston Ridge Oktoberfest! There will be activities for all ages: Music, Food, Crafts, Story time/Puppet Show, Costume Contest, Photo Booth, Hammerschlagen, Cornhole Tournament, 50/50 Raffle (please bring cash!) And it wouldn't be an Oktoberfest without some great outfits, so come dressed in your Oktoberfest Best and be entered to win some fun prizes! Keep tuned for more details to come, along with a signup for some great German Dishes to pass. Bratwursts, condiments and snacks will be provided. Annual July 4th Parade

Come celebrate America We are having our annual parade with refreshments following. Anyone who wants to be part of the parade decorate your classic car, golf cart, bike, wagon, etc or yourself and join us at the Plantation pool to parade throughout the community in celebration of America’s independence…. Parade staging will start at 9:30am in the pool parking lot. Please click here to RSVP if you want to be in the parade. Parade will start at 10:00am leaving from the Plantation pool parking lot. Parade route is: Starting at Plantation pool, down Plantation Dr. left on Periwinkle Square. Periwinkle Square left on Meadowrue Lane. Annual 2024 Community Block Party

Come enjoy time meeting up with all our wonderful neighbors… The HOA will provide hotdogs, burgers and water along with all the condiments and paper products, please bring a dish to pass (salads, appetizer, desert, snacks) along with any other beverage you may want (PLEASE REMEMBER NO GLASS). Event Coordinator(s) Wanted

Dear Winston Ridge Homeowners, The Board of Directors is looking for one or more volunteers to coordinate the community’s recurring social events. The Event Coordinator will: Help to recruit and organize volunteers for each event (or a single event) Work with and report back to the Board of Directors to determine the event’s needs, budget, and timeline and plan accordingly. Plan event aspects such as entertainment, decorations, food, start time, etc. Oversee all aspects of the event on the day of the event. The community events and the proposed dates are below. Meet John and Karen Zimmerman

John Zimmerman is an retired Air Force service member stationed in Vietnam during the Vietnam War, where he had a wealth of adventures which he documented in his recently published book "Vietnam Adventures and Retirement Travels." John and his wife Karen, his partner for decades, share their stories and experiences of their time together for your enjoyment. The book can be purchased through www.lulu.com or through Amazon.com in the near future. John and Karen moved into Winston Ridge in the summer of 2022. He is (as far as we are aware) one of the first published authors in the neighborhood!

Winston Ridge neighbors we just wanted to provide an update on progress decorating the Morning Glory entrance. There was an issue with the lights and new lights were procured. We expect to have everything installed by this weekend.

2023 Winter Holiday Celebration!!

We welcome all our wonderful Winston Ridge Neighbors to join in the 2023 celebration fun on Sunday, December 17th. We will begin with a parade from the Plantation pool parking lot and return to enjoy some cookies, hot chocolate, coffee, and cheer!!
