Winston Ridge: Assistant Change
This email is to inform you that my esteemed assistant, Javan York, will be embarking on new adventures starting Friday, 11/17. We're sincerely grateful for his contributions and wish him every success in the future. I'm delighted to introduce you to our newest team member, Brandi Allred, who will be taking Javan’s position. She brings fresh energy and skills to enhance our services. During this transition, you might notice Brandi gradually taking over some of the responsibilities previously handled by Javan. 2024 Social Event Planning for Kids Events
Good Morning WR! We are preparing some Social Committee events for 2024. In acknowledging we have a lot of young families in the community we would like to offer kids events at the clubhouse starting Feb. These events would consist of story telling, movie night and ice cream sundaes to start. We are looking for 2-3 young Moms, grandmas, aunts who would like to work with us. We will be meeting once per month for 2 hrs. and looking to create a second layer of participation to help support children activities. If this is you please contact me. Looking for Volunteers
If would you like an opportunity to come together as a Community to support the local community? If so, the Service Sub-Committee has an opportunity for you! The Tri-Area Ministry Food Pantry schedules GROUPS of volunteers for their Saturday distribution days. The group is limited to 8 volunteers, all of whom MUST BE 16 YEARS of age or older. So who's ready to VOLUNTEER? The next available date for a Group to volunteer is Saturday, Nov 18th from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Looking for a few more volunteers to serve! Reserve your place now for one of the CPR/AED certification classes! The cost is $35 per person. This invaluable training starts promptly at 10am and will wrap up on or before 2pm. Please note there is a limit of 12 people per class and the classes will be held in the Plantation pool house. Last Day to Sign up for Chili Cook Off October 18th
Saturday. October 21st, beginning at 4PM the Social Committee will be hosting the Chili Cook Off. Everyone is welcome to join the FUN. There will be a prize for the BEST Chili! Please note there are still slots open if you want to join in and show off your best chili. Please RSVP by Thursday October 18th. RSVP The Social Committee will be grilling dogs and brats, so please bring a dish to share. We’ll have tents and tables set up similar to The Ridge’s May Block Party! No beer, wine or liquor of any sort is allowed on the premises.
