Good Afternoon Winston Ridge Homeowner, I hope this email finds you well. I wanted to reach out to inform you that after careful consideration while listening to all of your concerns, the Winston Ridge Board of Directors has made a change regarding the deadline for trash and recycling screening. The guidelines themselves have not been changed and have been repeated below for your convenience. What has changed is the deadline has been extended to be 90 days from the date of this email instead of the 45 days as originally stated.  The final day for completion will be Thursday, November 21, 2024. Umbrella Damage – Plantation Pool

So this is what the pool committee was trying to avoid. See, the umbrellas that are closed can survive thunderstorms. Umbrellas that are left open cannot. When I checked on the push bar yesterday evening, there were people still at the pool and umbrellas still up so, that was fine but now this morning, this. Please comment below with your ideas to get this to be the last time we have to deal with this situation. I'm at my wits end. To confirm it was, indeed, left open, the process to open it requires a key is slid into through the pole, once pulled open or it will default to fall shut. It was left open. I know, so disappointing.

The Tri-Area Ministry Food Pantry schedules GROUPS of volunteers for their Saturday distribution days. The group is limited to 8 volunteers, all of whom MUST BE 16 YEARS of age or older. As announced at yesterday's annual homeowners meeting the pools will close for the season this year as follows; the Listeria Crest pool will close September 17th, and the Plantation pool will close on October 22nd. We expect reopen open the pools for the 2024 season on May 11th, 2024.
