Please help support the Tri-Area Ministry Food Pantry! They have begun collecting sides for Thanksgiving and are specifically requesting box or bag mashed potatoes/stuffing, biscuit or corn muffin mix, and gravy packets. Of course, STAPLE items such as cereal, peanut butter, jelly, canned fruit/veggies/soup/tuna/chicken; rice & pasta are always needed. PLEASE, NO GLASS containers. You all have been very generous in the past, and we hope you will be once again. To make things as convenient as possible, the Social (Service Sub) Committee is offering three drop-off locations within the community. As I am sure you are already aware Hurricane Florence is forecasted to make landfall somewhere on the North Carolina Coast Thursday night.  It is also forecasted that this storm will likely cause wide-spread damage, power outages and flooding in our area.  Please monitor conditions in your community and report any issues, concerns or damage on common areas to management. Please remember that contractors will be dealing with a multitude of emergencies in the hours and days immediately after the storm therefore everyone's patience is and will be greatly appreciated.  We will all be impacted and inconvenienced and will need to work together to get through the toughest times.
