To our Winston Ridge Friends and Neighbors: We are thankful for each of you and the great neighborhood in which we live. We hope everyone has a wonderful time with family and friends over the Thanksgiving holiday. We also wanted to let everyone know as quickly as possible so that you have time to adjust schedules, if necessary, that we have made a slight change to the Christmas Parade, Cookie Exchange, and Santa Visit schedule. Rather than starting with the cookie exchange, the parade will be held first.  It will start at 3:30 pm at the Plantation Pool.  Lineup for the parade will begin at 3:00 pm.  Remember that no cars will be allowed in the parade but you can have a golf cart that is street legal and properly…

This email is to inform you that my esteemed assistant, Javan York, will be embarking on new adventures starting Friday, 11/17. We're sincerely grateful for his contributions and wish him every success in the future. I'm delighted to introduce you to our newest team member, Brandi Allred, who will be taking Javan’s position. 2024 Social Event Planning for Kids Events

Good Morning WR! We are preparing some Social Committee events for 2024. In acknowledging we have a lot of young families in the community we would like to offer kids events at the clubhouse starting Feb. These events would consist of story telling, movie night and ice cream sundaes to start. We are looking for 2-3 young Moms, grandmas, aunts who would like to work with us. We will be meeting once per month for 2 hrs. and looking to create a second layer of participation to help support children activities. If this is you please contact me. If would you like an opportunity to come together as a Community to support the local community? If so, the Service Sub-Committee has an opportunity for you! The Tri-Area Ministry Food Pantry schedules GROUPS of volunteers for their Saturday distribution days. The group is limited to 8 volunteers, all of whom MUST BE 16 YEARS of age or older. So who's ready to VOLUNTEER? The next available date for a Group to volunteer is Saturday, Nov 18th from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Looking for a few more volunteers to serve! Daylight Saving Time ends at 2 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 5, so residents are reminded to turn their clocks back one hour before bed Saturday evening. Clocks are set back one hour at 2 a.m. local daylight time, which becomes 1 a.m. local standard time. On the second Sunday in March, clocks will be set ahead one hour at 2 a.m. local standard time, which becomes 3 a.m. Daylight Saving Time. The next clock change will be March 10, 2024
