Dear Winston Ridge Neighbors, Would you like an opportunity to come together as a Community to support community? If so, theService Sub-Committee (part of the Social Committee) has an opportunity for you! The Tri-Area Ministry Food Pantry schedules GROUPS of volunteers for their Saturday distribution days (2nd and 3rd Saturday of each month). The group is limited to eight volunteers, all of whom must be SIXTEEN years of age or older. If we have more than eight volunteers, we can either split the shift, or perhaps volunteer for another Saturday. Please note that ALL work is done outdoors, rain or shine, hot or cold, so folks need to dress for theweather. All volunteers must wear closed toe shoes for safety reasons. Hello Neighbors, Please help support the Tri-Area Ministry Food Pantry! They have begun collecting sides for Thanksgiving and are specifically requesting box or bag mashed potatoes/stuffing, biscuit or corn muffin mix, and gravy packets. Of course, STAPLE items such as cereal, peanut butter, jelly, canned fruit/veggies/soup/tuna/chicken; rice & pasta are always needed. PLEASE, NO GLASS containers. You all have been very generous in the past, and we hope you will be once again. To make things as convenient as possible, the Social (Service Sub) Committee is offering three drop-off locations within the community. Unfortunately this week's scheduled food truck (Ernestine's Caribbean Cuisine) had to cancel. However, we were able to book Pyramids Food Truck again.  They will be at the Plantation pool this Wednesday 9/20 from 5-7:30. Sorry no pre order option.
