John H. Zimmerman Memorial Bocce Tournament
The first John H. Zimmerman Memorial Bocce Tournament will be held on Armed Forces Day, Saturday, 17 May 2025, from 0900-1300 in the Pool Greenspace. All are invited. If you want to get a team together, you should have 4 people per team with a team name. Medals for 1st , 2nd, and 3rd place will be award to the top 3 teams and the top team will have their team name on a plate placed on a plaque commemorating their victory. John Zimmerman is a deceased Air Force Vietnam Combat Veteran who was an active member of the Veterans Group here on Winston Ridge. If you would like to make a donation to the Parkinson's Foundation in his name, that is certainly welcome. Please do this separately from the Bocce Tournament. …
Winston Ridge 2025 Budget Outline/Breakdown
Dear Homeowners, The primary responsibility of the Winston Ridge Homeowner’s Association Board is to ensure the fiduciary strength of the Association. A status report regarding this was given at our Annual Meeting held on September 17th, 2024. Subsequently the Board announced in a Regular Meeting that a 9.1% increase in annual assessments from $550 to $600 was approved in its July Executive Session. This will take effect on January 1, 2025. Members making their payments automatically will not need to take any action to ensure their assessment payments remain current. The backdrop for this decision includes our collective concerns such as: Unknown extra ordinary expenses to be lawfully assigned to the HOA such as stormwater pond maintenance, Unknown build-out timeline for completion of the sub-division, Continuing and unknown inflationary pressures,…

Meet The Candidates Night Reminder
Good Afternoon Winston Ridge Homeowner, This email is a reminder for the upcoming "Meet The Candidates Night" that will be held tomorrow night, Thursday, September 5, 2024. The six candidates will meet with you one on one from 7:00pm - 9:00pm at the Plantation pool clubhouse. They will all be seated at separate tables throughout the clubhouse ready to meet you, talk to you and and answer any questions you may have for them. Please know this is a "drop-in" meeting so that you can plan what time works best for you within the 2 hour time period, but the candidates themselves will be there for the entirety of meeting. Plantation Pool Ceiling Fans Are Installed
The ceiling fans have been installed. To turn on the pool house deck fans, use one switch of the double switch at the doors going out to the pool deck nearest the women's restroom. To turn on the outside fans, GENTLY push the button at the bottom of the timer located on the wall just around the corner from the clock and chair lift battery charger. Each of the two switches operates two exterior fans. Choose a time up to 60 minutes and then enjoy the breeze. The exterior fans will turn themselves off after your time selection is complete. Many thanks to Chamberlain Electrical Service for their professional services and willingness to do this attic work in this crazy hot July. They surely enjoyed the cooler weather today!
