The Listeria Crest pool and the Plantation Drive pool will be open for the summer season this Saturday with fobs activated for both pools at 9:00am.   Please read and follow the pool rules.  A few rules have been changed to for this pool season and should be noted.  Please know that with the upwind construction going on in close proximity to the Plantation pool, red clay dust and dirt will be prominent at this pool until grass, sidewalks, and roads are installed and stabilize the construction site ground.  We are aware that it is going to be dirty and gritty during this phase of construction and throughout the entire pool season and hope you will enjoy the pool in spite of these conditions this year.  Of course, the Listeria Crest…

May 18th is Armed Forces day and also the first Winston Ridge Bocce tournament.  Because of Court availability we are limiting the tournament to 8 teams, 2 of which are already slated to the local American Legion and the Veterans Group.  No prior knowledge of bocce is necessary!  We will have an official there to explain the rules and play process.  Having fun is the main goal! The tournament will run from 9:00 am until about noon with a potluck in the poolhouse from noon until 3:00 pm for the tournament participants.  Get your team together now!  They can be coed!  Let Chris Greco know your team name and participants before slots run out by emailing grectech@att.net First come first served!  Prizes for top 3 winners.  Bocce official will be provided…

April 27 – Plantation Poolhouse deck space clean up day – volunteers needed

The pool committee would like to invite volunteers to the Plantation Poolhouse deck next Saturday, April 27, at 10:00 for a spring cleaning of the pollen covered space and furniture. We also need to move the pool deck furniture (a few of the  round tables and arm chairs, all chaise lounge chairs and the little tables to the opposite side of the fence.  After the clean up is done, the fobs can be turned on for perpetual enjoyment!
