This email is to inform you that my esteemed assistant, Javan York, will be embarking on new adventures starting Friday, 11/17. We're sincerely grateful for his contributions and wish him every success in the future. I'm delighted to introduce you to our newest team member, Brandi Allred, who will be taking Javan’s position. She brings fresh energy and skills to enhance our services. During this transition, you might notice Brandi gradually taking over some of the responsibilities previously handled by Javan. 2024 Social Event Planning for Kids Events

Good Morning WR! We are preparing some Social Committee events for 2024. In acknowledging we have a lot of young families in the community we would like to offer kids events at the clubhouse starting Feb. These events would consist of story telling, movie night and ice cream sundaes to start. We are looking for 2-3 young Moms, grandmas, aunts who would like to work with us. We will be meeting once per month for 2 hrs. and looking to create a second layer of participation to help support children activities. If this is you please contact me. Winston Ridge Neighbors - You all are AMAZING! The Service Committee (& the Tri-Area Ministry Food Pantry) are blown away by your GENEROSITY! THANK YOU! We dropped off 3 car loads of food this morning which completely filled one and a half of their huge bins! Did you know the Pantry will help to feed over 1500 families this month alone?! It takes a village, and I for one, LOVE mine! And a very special Thank You to Pat Sheehan and Theresa Fofi for volunteering to collect donations throughout the week and make a delivery this morning! Bob Trojak was kind enough to offer generators to keep our Crock Pots hot at the Octoberfest on October 21st and we would like to do a trial run. Please bring your Crock Pots to the Greenspace at the corner of Scarlet Bell and Periwinkle on Wednesday the 4th at 6:30. If you cannot make it you can drop off your Crock Pot to me at 32 Sweetbay Park so we can test it. There will be 8 of us including myself and Bob Trojak. Dear Winston Ridge Neighbors, Would you like an opportunity to come together as a Community to support community? If so, theService Sub-Committee (part of the Social Committee) has an opportunity for you! The Tri-Area Ministry Food Pantry schedules GROUPS of volunteers for their Saturday distribution days (2nd and 3rd Saturday of each month). The group is limited to eight volunteers, all of whom must be SIXTEEN years of age or older. If we have more than eight volunteers, we can either split the shift, or perhaps volunteer for another Saturday. Please note that ALL work is done outdoors, rain or shine, hot or cold, so folks need to dress for theweather. All volunteers must wear closed toe shoes for safety reasons.
