Good Afternoon Homeowner, In preparation of the impending weather, we want to inform you the Board of Directors has chosen to take precautions and put safety measures in place regarding the pools and clubhouse. Due to the threat of high damaging winds, the pool furniture has been stacked and properly stored to avoid causing any possible damage during the storm. Both pools and the clubhouse will be closed Thursday, August 8, and Friday, August 9, 2024. Once the storm has passed, the decision whether to reopen the pool on Saturday or not will be determined and communicated to the community. Dear Winston Ridge Residents, We are writing to notify you that as of August 1st, Peter Anderson has tendered his resignation from the board in order to dedicate more time to his family. Please keep them in your thoughts and or prayers. We are grateful to Peter for the years that he has given to Winston Ridge to make this a great community in which to live. Over the years, the Wake Forest Farmers Market has grown into a lively community event on Saturday mornings. From April through September, the Farmers Market operates Saturdays from 8 a.m.-noon. From October through March, it is open 10 a.m.-noon. Now located behind the Wake Forest Town Hall, along South Taylor Street, the Farmers Market offers fresh-off-the-farm produce; pasture-raised beef, poultry, and pork; free-range eggs; fresh and dried herbs; honey, jams, and preserves; fresh-cut flowers and delicious baked goods. Dear Winston Ridge Homeowners, It has been brought to our attention there are a few homes displaying political signs in their yard or on their home. This is a friendly reminder this is prohibited at this time. Per the Winston Ridge Covenants Article XI User Restrictions Section 24, "political signs shall not be placed on a Lot earlier than forty-five (45) days before such elections and shall be removed within seven (7) days after such election".
